2 5) If OK, then check the continuity between each terminal
and ground.
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
Injector continuity
∞ Ω (Infinity)
Are the resistance and continuity OK?
3 1) Turn the ignition switch ON.
2) Measure the injector voltage between the Y/R wire and
ground.
NOTE
Injector voltage can be detected only for 3
seconds after ignition switch is turned ON.

Go to Step 2.
• Gr/W wire open or
shorted to ground, or
poor "42" connection
(#1 cylinder).
• Gr/B wire open or
shorted to ground, or
poor "51" connection
(#2 cylinder).
• If wire and
connection are OK,
intermittent trouble or
faulty ECM.
• Recheck each
terminal and wire
harness for open
circuit and poor
connection.
• Replace the ECM
with a known good
one, and inspect it
again. Refer to "ECM
Removal and
Installation in Section
1C (Page 1C-1)".

Replace the injector
with a new one. Refer to
"Throttle Body
Disassembly and
Assembly in Section 1D
(Page 1D-14)".
Open circuit in the Y/R
wire.
