Software Upgrade

When EP system via the Internet is used, this feature is used to upgrade the software for EP
system when the version upgrade is required.
You can specify when to start the software upgrade.
Important • After the downloading is finished, the machine automatically restarts and upgrades the software.

Start Upgrade
Starts a version upgrade soon.
Schedule Upgrade
Select [On] and specify the date and time to start a version upgrade.

Delete All Certificates/Initialize Settings
Deletes all certificates stored in the machine and initializes the security settings associated
with certificates. This feature is designed to use when you cannot use a certificate data in
the machine because of an abnormality of certificate file even when the certificate is set to
enabled for [SSL/TLS Settings] under [Tools] > [System Settings] > [Connectivity & Network
Setup] > [Security Settings].
Quick Setup Home
Displays Install Wizard which requires configuring the items necessary when installing the
machine.
You can configure Screen/Button Settings, and IP Address Settings.

Set the adjustment value for 2-sided copying.
Auto
Select this check box to adjust paper curl automatically to fit paper characteristics.
Scale of adjustment values (4, 3, 2, 1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4)
Select an adjustment value depending on the degree of curl on the output paper.
Uncheck the [Auto] check box to enable the scale.
For paper that tends to be output with upward curl, select a value between [1] and [4] on
the right. For paper that tends to be output with downward curl, select a value between
[1] and [4] on the left.
The maximum available adjustment value is [4] for both downward curl and upward curl.
The larger the value, the larger the amount of adjustment. When [0] is selected, the
machine does not perform paper curl adjustment.
The selected output format (1 or 2 sided, face up or down, and so on) affects the paper
feed mechanism and path in the machine. Adjust the correction value for each output
format shown on the screen.
After the machine restarts again and the Services Home screen is displayed, the software upgrade is
completed.
