DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS)
BX:DTC P1090 — TUMBLE GENERATOR VALVE SYSTEM #1 (RH) MALFUNC-
TION (STUCK OPEN) —
• DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
• Immediately at fault recognition
CAUTION:
After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct Clear Memory Mode <Ref. to EN(TURBO)-45, OP-
ERATION, Clear Memory Mode.> and Inspection Mode <Ref. to EN(TURBO)-42, Inspection Mode.> .
Step
1 CHECK ANY OTHER DIAGNOSTIC TROU-
BLE CODE (DTC) ON DISPLAY.
2 CHECK TUMBLE GENERATOR VALVE RH
1)Remove the tumble generator valve assem-
bly.
2)Check the tumble generator valve body.
