9.12 Changing the system settings
Set the system time
With the Set the system time MOD function in the System settings
group, you can set the time zone, date, and time manually or by
means of an NTP server synchronization.
To set the system time manually, proceed as follows:
Select the System settings group in the MOD menu
Press the SET DATE/ TIME soft key
The control opens a pop-up window.
In the Time zone area, select the desired time zone
Press the NTP off soft key if required
The control enables the Set the time manually check box.
Change the date and time, if required
Press the OK soft key
The control saves the settings.
To set the system time using a NTP server, proceed as follows:
Select the System settings group in the MOD menu
Press the SET DATE/ TIME soft key
The control opens a pop-up window.
In the Time zone area, select the desired time zone
Press the NTP on soft key, if required
The control enables the Synchronize the time over NTP server
check box.
Enter the host name or the URL of an NTP server
Press the Add soft key
Press the OK soft key
The control saves the settings.
