police aggregate
The police aggregate Policy-map Class Configuration mode command applies an aggregate
policer to multiple classes within the same policy map. To remove an existing aggregate policer
from a policy map, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
police aggregate aggregate-policer-name
no police aggregate aggregate-policer-name
Parameters

aggregate-policer-name — Specifies the name of the aggregate policer.
Default Setting
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Policy-map Class Configuration mode
Command Usage
An aggregate policer can be applied to multiple classes in the same policy map; An aggregate
policer cannot be applied across multiple policy maps or interfaces.
To return to the Policy-map Configuration mode, use the exit command. To return to the
Privileged EXEC mode, use the end command.
Example
The following command applies the aggregate policer called policer1 to a class called class1 in
policy map called policy1.
Console(config)# policy-map policy1
Console(config-pmap)# class class1
Console(config-pmap-c)# police aggregate policer1
