speed
The speed Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode command configures the speed
of a given Ethernet interface when not using auto-negotiation. To restore the default
configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
speed {10 | 100 | 1000}
no speed
Parameters

10 — Forces10 Mbps operation.
■
100 — Forces 100 Mbps operation.
■
1000 — Forces 1000 Mbps operation.

Command Usage
The no speed command in a port-channel context returns each port in the port-channel to its
maximum capability.
Example
The following command configures the speed operation of Ethernet port 1/e5 to 100 Mbps
operation.
Console(config)# interface ethernet 1/e5
