ip name-server
The ip name-server Global Configuration mode command defines the available name servers.
To remove a name server, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
ip name-server server-address [server-address2 ... server-address8]
no ip name-server [server-address1 ... server-address8]
Parameters

server-address — Specifies IP addresses of the name server.
Default Setting
No name server addresses are specified.

Global Configuration mode
Command Usage
The preference of the servers is determined by the order in which they were entered.
Up to 8 servers can be defined using one command or using multiple commands.
Example
The following command sets the available name server.
Console(config)# ip name-server 176.16.1.18
