Example
The following example enables SNMP traps for host 192.16.12.143.
console(config)# snmp-server host 192.16.12.143
Dell_powerconnect traps v2
The following examples allow spaces in the host name.
console(config)#snmp-server host "host name"
console(config)#snmp-server v3-host "host name"

snmp-server location

Use the snmp-server location command in Global Configuration mode to set the system
location string. To remove the location string, use the no form of this command.

snmp-server location
no snmp-server location
text — Character string describing the system location. (Range: 1 to 255 characters.)

Example
The following example sets the device location as "New_York".
console(config)# snmp-server location New_York

snmp-server user

Use the snmp-server user command in Global Configuration mode to configure a new SNMP
Version 3 user. To delete a user, use the no form of this command.
