How to create, configure, modify and download a valid CODESYS boot project
for non-safety CPUs is described in
To avoid unexpected configuration errors, as a first step, download a valid
CODESYS PLC project to non-safety CPU. As a second step, download a
CODESYS Safety PLC project to the safety CPU.
Program and download a valid project to non-safety CPU.
Start CODESYS Safety by double-clicking safety application node, e.g., "AC500_S" .
ð Before CODESYS Safety is started, you may be asked to update your CODESYS
configuration. It is needed to transfer the updated configuration data (e.g., variable
names, etc.) to CODESYS Safety.
DANGER!
Make sure that when CODESYS Safety is started, the following prop-
erties can be observed:
– Yellow background
– SAFETY MODE is visible in the title bar.
