Clutch mechanical release control - Install
Reassemble the clutch mechanical release control.
Take care of the following:
1. Reassembly follows the disassembly procedure in re-
verse.
2. Make sure that the lock clips are properly seated on the
clutch release forks.
3. Comply with tightening torques indicated. See Clutch
- Torque (18.110).
4. Apply L
® 243™ sealant to clutch release fork
OCTITE
lock-screw and left-hand side brake pedal lock-screw
before tightening.
5. Thoroughly clean and degrease mating surfaces of en-
gine and transmission housing. Apply a bead of liquid
gasket of approximately 2.000 mm (0.079 in) of diam-
eter. Buckle up the transmission housing and the en-
gine.
