Mechanical transmission - Assemble – Intermediate plate
WARNING
Heavy objects!
Lift and handle all heavy components using lifting equipment with adequate capacity. Always support
units or parts with suitable slings or hooks. Make sure the work area is clear of all bystanders.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION
Pinch hazard!
Always use suitable tools to align mating parts. DO NOT use your hand or fingers.
Failure to comply could result in minor or moderate injury.
1. Install the retaining rings (1) into the intermediate plate.
2. Expand the retaining ring (1) and insert the bearing.
Use a hammer to drive the bearing in until the retaining
ring locks into the groove on the bearing.
3. Install the intermediate plate on the front of the trans-
mission housing.
4. Secure the intermediate plate with the bolts (1) that
were removed during disassembly.
