When the DSGA is used, two calibrations are required at each data rate:
one for Data0 and another one for the other channels. The calibration for
Data0 includes the switch. For the other channels, Data1 is calibrated
without the switch.
First, the Sinusoidal Jitter is adjusted until the measured eye width is
within specified limits. At each step, it starts with the default value and is
then recalculated based on the difference with the target value. Once the
jitter components are set, a sweep over the differential voltage is
performed until the measured eye height is below the specified. Up to
gen3, the eye width and height values are obtained by using the histogram
measurements of the DSO. For gen 4, the jitter measurement are
performed with the SigTest software.
This procedure is repeated for different frequencies: f

If the calibration fails and shows messages such as "The Eye -Height did

not reach a value above the target value of xx mV!" and "Check your
system connections and if necessary increase the

Repeat this step until it passes successfully.
Refer to the connection diagrams shown in the Connection Diagram
section of the ISI (w/Switch) Calibration test for M8020A, and N4903B
configurations.
