    Option SD0 - Internal Storage Disabled Upgrade Upgrade Instructions Saving User Files Once this upgrade is completed all user files that are saved on the A4 Solid State Disk Drive will no longer be accessible. They will not be lost, as they will still be on the disk. However, if they will be needed for use with the instrument after this upgrade is completed copy them off to a USB drive before proceeding with this upgrade.

    Option SD0 - Internal Storage Disabled Upgrade License Key Retrieval and Installation 4. Follow the instructions on the enclosed License Entitlement Certificate to redeem the new Option SD0 license key for the instrument being upgraded. 5. Once the new license key has been redeemed follow the installation instructions that come with the license file to install it into the instrument.

    Option SD0 - Internal Storage Disabled Upgrade Hardware Removal and Replacement Outer Cover Removal 8. Turn the instrument off and disconnect the power cord. 9. Referring to Figure 3, remove the two screws (1) that attach the strap handle (2) and remove the strap handle.

Use extreme caution to not damage the RF connector when lifting and repositioning the signal generator to remove the outer cover. Inner Bottom Cover Removal 14.Place the instrument upside down on a flat work surface.

When tightening the four instrument rear feet make sure that the cover assembly is seating properly into the gasketing along the groove in the rear of the front frame assembly all around the front of the cover.
