5. Click Maintenance | Configuration | Save startup-config and then click the Save Configuration button.
Using the CLI to Reset the Default Settings
You can choose to reset:
•
MP1204-XT configuration
excluding IP configuration settings
•
All of the configuration settings

Use this procedure to reset the
configuration to default settings but
keep the IP settings.
1. Access the CLI using the console
port or telnet.
2. Type reload defaults keep-ip
3. Check the interface VLAN and IP
address to confirm only
management IP setting kept by
entering these commands:
•
show int vlan 1
•
show vlan
•
show int vlan 1
4. Save the new settings to the flash
by entering: copy running-config
startup-config
To reset the all configuration to default completely including the IP configuration settings:
1. Access the CLI using the console port or telnet.
2. Enter: reload defaults
3. Check the interface VLAN and IP address and confirm that they all changed to default settings.
4. Save the new settings to the flash by entering: copy running-config startup-config
