Investigating Communication Issues

Software is not communicating with the TSQ 8000 Evo system.

If the TSQ 8000 Evo system and PC are not communicating, press the Reset button, which is found on the interior front panel inside the
front door. You can also power-off the TSQ 8000 Evo system and power it back on again.
Make sure the Ethernet cable is properly connected to the TSQ 8000 Evo instrument.
Confirm the TCP/IP configuration on the computer matches the TSQ 8000 Evo system's.
Reboot the computer.

Cannot download methods to the TSQ 8000 Evo system.

Verify that your instruments are properly configured in the Instrument Configuration utility.

GC does not start or is not ready.

Open the Instrument Configuration utility and verify the GC methods and configuration.
Make sure the Remote Start cable is properly connected to the Generic/HS port on the GC and to the GC Start port on the TSQ 8000 Evo
system.

Xcalibur software verifies the instrument is communicating with the computer at the proper
speed for fast scanning. Your instrument or software may indicate the following issues.
