Vent Valve Knob and O-Ring

 To replace the vent valve knob and o-ring

1. Shut down your system by following the steps in
System" on page 107. You do not have to remove the ion source cartridge or column. If
you are using hydrogen as a carrier gas, power off the GC.

2. Remove and replace the vent valve knob and o-ring. Be careful not to pinch the o-ring
during installation.
3. Restart your system by following the instructions in
"Shutting Down the TSQ 8000 Evo
