 To replace the manifold door hinge:

1. Shut down your system by following the steps in
System" on page 107.
Note You do not have to remove the ion source cartridge or the column.
2. Slide the top cover panel toward the back of the instrument and lift it off.
3. Remove the four screws on the left hand front panel and remove the panel. One is located
at the bottom left side of the front of the instrument.
