When you first enable Dedicated Management Port, the existing single IP Address is
assigned automatically as the Management IP Address – you are required to configure the
Traffic IP Address(es) (Figure Q-8):
a) From the Serial CLI Main Menu, press

b) On the Ethernet Configuration menu, press '
Managed Switch Gateway IP Addresses, respectively.
c) On the Ethernet Configuration menu, press '
Subnet Prefix, respectively, for the '10/100 Ethernet | Traffic 100' port. Make sure the
Management IP Address and Traffic IP Address are NOT in the same subnet.
