Hot Key Description
U
Toggle to set as 'V1' or 'V2'. This defines which version of the IGMP protocol
should be followed when attempting to join a group on a Multicast Server via
an unsolicited report.
When the Packet Processor is configured to Recognize IGMP Queries, the
Packet Processor will respond to a query in the same version that the server
used to initiate the query.
When you toggle V1, the CLI configures the Packet Processor to use the
•
IGMP Version 1 protocol to join a Multicast Group available on an IGMP
Server in response to an IGMP Query.
When you toggle V2, the CLI configures the Packet Processor to use the
•
IGMP Version 2 protocol to join a Multicast Group available on an IGMP
Server in response to an IGMP Query.
I
Set a value, in seconds, to configure the time interval for the Packet Processor
to generate unsolicited reports to join a Multicast Group. A value of zero
implies that no unsolicited reports to join a Multicast group should be
generated by the Packet Processor.
Each unsolicited report to join a Multicast group will use the version of the
IGMP protocol as specified by the IGMP Version used for Unsolicited Reports
option.
