Parameters:
class-name, the name of DHCPv6 class which is a string with a length of less than 32
Default:
None.
Command Mode:
Global configuration mode
Usage Guide:
Configure a group of option 37 or option 38, or configure option 37 and option 38 simultaneously in a DHCPv6 class.
This command can be used when the server supports DHCPv6 class only.
Example:
Define a DHCPv6 class named CLASS1.
Switch(Config)# ipv6 dhcp class CLASS1
34.1.4 ipv6 dhcp relay remote-id
Command:
ipv6 dhcp relay remote-id <remote-id>
no ipv6 dhcp relay remote-id
Function:
This command is used to set the form of adding option 37 in received DHCPv6 request packets, of which
<remote-id> is the remote-id in user-defined option 37 and it is a string with a length of less than 128. The no
operation of this command restores remote-id in option 37 to enterprise-number together with vlan MAC address.
Parameters:
remote-id, user-defined content of option 37.
Default:
Using vlan MAC address as remote-id content by default such as "00-01-ac-12-23" with '-' hyphen.
