Field Description
Dead Intvl Number of seconds before the area border router's neighbors
declare it down, when they stop hearing the router's Hellos
Hello Intvl Length of time (in seconds) between Hello packets
Indx Index number of the virtual link
Password Password for the virtual link
Rxmit Intvl Length of time (in seconds) between link state advertisement
retransmissions
Target Router End-point area border router where the virtual link terminates
Transit Area Common area that the virtual link uses to reach the target router
Xmit Delay Estimated number of seconds that it takes to transmit a link state
update packet over the virtual link
