Audi A8 2003 ➤
8-cylinder TDI engine (4.2 ltr. 4-valve common rail), mechanics - Edition 12.2013
– Remove coolant pipe -arrows-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
Note
Renew gaskets, seals and O-rings.
Hose connections and hoses for charge air system must be
free of oil and grease before assembly.
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips
(same as original equipment) ⇒ Electronic parts catalogue .
Fit all cable ties in the original positions when installing.
– Clean and smoothen sealing surface for O-ring as required
before installing.
– Lubricate new O-ring with coolant and slide onto coolant pipe.
– Install poly V-belt
