8-cylinder TDI engine (4.2 ltr. 4-valve common rail), mechanics - Edition 12.2013
– Unplug electrical connector -1- at engine mounting (right-
side).
– Remove bolts -arrows- and detach engine support with engine
mounting.
– Unplug electrical connector -1-.
– Detach air intake hoses -2- and -3- at turbocharger.
– Remove bolts -1- and -2-.
– Remove oil return hose -3- from sump (centre section).
– Remove oil return line.
– Detach coolant line -arrow- at rear of turbocharger.
