❑ Removing and installing
❑ Align exhaust system so it is free of stress
❑ After renewing particulate filter, perform adaption in "Guided Functions" ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester
17 - Bracket
18 - 18 Nm
❑ Renew
19 - Clamp (front)
❑ Before tightening, align exhaust system so it is free of stress
❑ Installation position
❑ Tighten bolt connections evenly
20 - 23 Nm
21 - Particulate filter /main catalytic converter (right-side)
❑ Removing and installing
❑ Align exhaust system so it is free of stress
❑ After renewing particulate filter, perform adaption in "Guided Functions" ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester
22 - Gasket
❑ Renew
23 - 25 Nm
24 - Exhaust pipe (right-side)
❑ With flexible joint
❑ Do not bend flexible joint more than 10° – otherwise it can be damaged
❑ Removing and installing
❑ Align exhaust system so it is free of stress
25 - 22 Nm
26 - 23 Nm
❑ Renew
27 - Mounting
28 - Tailpipe
❑ Align exhaust system so it is free of stress
29 - 23 Nm
30 - Rubber mounting
❑ Check preload ⇒ "1.19 Stress-free alignment of exhaust system", page 313
31 - Rear silencer (right-side)
❑ Combined with Y-pipe in one unit as original equipment. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
