1.11 Removing and installing starter catalytic
converter (right-side)
Removing
Note
All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must
be fitted in the same position when installing.
– Lower subframe for repair and assembly work
– Unbolt cross piece (front) -arrows-.
– Loosen clamps -1- and -2-.
– Loosen union nut -1- and unclip pressure pipe at particulate
filter/main catalytic converter (left-side).
– Loosen union nut -3- and detach pressure pipe at exhaust
pipe.
– Unscrew temperature sender 2 before particulate filter - G498-
-item 2- from particulate filter/main catalytic converter (left-
side).
