2.7 Removing and installing exhaust gas re‐
circulation cooler
Removing
– Remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler with change-over
flap ⇒ page 320 .
– Remove bolts and nuts -arrows- and take off exhaust gas re‐
circulation cooler from change-over flap for exhaust gas recir‐
culation.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Renew seals and gaskets.
– Install exhaust gas recirculation cooler with change-over flap
⇒ page 320 .
Tightening torque
Component
Exhaust gas recirculation cooler to change-over
flap for exhaust gas recirculation

Renew bolts.

90° = one quarter turn.
