8-cylinder TDI engine (4.2 ltr. 4-valve common rail), mechanics - Edition 12.2013
– Remove bolt -1-.
– Remove banjo bolt -2-.
Note
The oil supply lines remain attached to the engine.
– Remove bolt -1-.
– Detach idler roller together with spacer sleeves.
– Remove bolts -2- and -3-.
– Detach coolant pipe from hoses -arrows-.
– Unscrew retaining clip -arrow- for power steering hydraulic line
at sump.
