– Unscrew body brace -arrow-.
– Remove bolt -arrow-.
– Pivot bracket for air conditioner pipe to one side.
Note
To prevent damage to the refrigerant lines, ensure that the pipes
and hoses are not stretched, kinked or bent.
– Remove bolts -arrows- on fuel filter bracket.

Fuel filter remains in engine compartment with fuel lines connec‐

– Attach adapters - 10 - 222 A /21- without cross beam onto
suspension turrets.
• Supports are marked for left and right side of vehicle.
• The centre resting point -2- of supports is positioned on se‐
curing point for body brace.
• The adapters - 10 - 222 A /21- are attached by means of the
rear securing bolts -3- for the body brace.
• The knurled screw -1- must be screwed down until support
plate rests on suspension turret.
