DTC 71: Different Diameter Tire
1. Clear the DTC (see step 1 on page 19-33).
2. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the ABS indicatot come on, and i3 DTC 71
indicated?
YES Make sure allfour tires are the specified size
and are inflated to proper specification.l
NO Intermittent failure; the vehicle is OK at this

DTC 81: Central Processing Unit (CPU)
Diagnosis, and ROM/RAM Diagnosis
1. Check for other DTCS.
ls another DTC present?
YES - Do the appropriate troubleshooting for the
DTC.
NO- Go to step 2
2. Clearthe DTC (see step 1 on page 19-33).
3. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the ABS indicator come on, and is DTC 81
indicated?
YES Replace the ABS modulator-control unit l
NO - Intermittent failure; the vehicle is OK at this
