1. Remove the mainshaft bearing and oil seal withthe
special tool and a commercially available 3ig_16,,
s l i d e h a m m e r { A } .

Installthe new mainshaft bearing until it bottoms in
the housing with the specialtools.

Install the new oil seal flush with the housing with
the special tools.
