Hatch Latch Replacement

NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1 . R e m o v e t h e h a t c h t r i m p a n e l ( s e e p a g e 2 0 - 5 3 ) .

2. Disconnect the hatch lalch actuator connectors {A)

and hatch latch switch connector (B), and detach

the hatch latch switch connector from the hatch.

Fastener Locations

6 x 1 . 0 m m

(1.0 kgf.m,7.2 lbt.ft)

While holding the hatch latch (C), remove the bolts,

then remove the latch from the hatch.

4. Disconnect the hatch opener cable (A) from the

lnstall the latch in the reve6e order of removal. and

note these items:

. Nlake sure each connector is plugged in properly,

and the cable is connected properly.

. Make sure the cable actuates the latch before Vou

close the hatch.

. Make sure the hatch opens properly and locks
