Fuel Fill Door Opener Replacement

NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Slide the driver's front seat rearward fully.

2. Remove these items from the left side of the

vehicle (see page 20-49):

. Door sill trim

. Kick panel

3. Pull the carpet back as necessary {see page 20-56).

4. Remove the bolts. then remove the fuel fill door

opener (A) irom the body.

Fastener Locstions

6 x 1 . 0 m m

{1.0 kgf.m,7.2lbf ftl

Disconnect the fuel fill door opener cable (B) from

the opener. then remove the opener. Take care not

to bend the cable.

6. Installthe opener in the reverse order of removal,

and note these items:

. Make sure the opener cable is connected

. Make sure the fuellill dooropens properly and

locks securelv.
