17. Make sure the transmlssion is in the E position
Fill the transmission with ATF, and run the engine
for 30 seconds or until approximately 0 950 (1 0 US
q t . ) i s d i s c h a r g e d .
18. Remove the drain hose, and reconnect the cooler
return hose to the transmission

Refill the transmission with ATF to the proper level
( s e e p a g e ' 1 4 - 1 3 9 ) .
ATF Gooler Hose RePlacement
1 . Connect the ATF cooler hoses (A) to the ATF filter
(B). with the dot (C) facing up, and secure the hose
e n d s w i t h t h e c l i p s ( D ) .

Connect the ATF cooler hose {E) to the ATF cooler
(F) with the dot (G) facing down, and to the ATF
c o o l e r l i n e s ( H ) o n t h e t r a n s m i s s i o n , a n d s e c u r e t h e
hoses with the cliPs.
