Front and Rear Suspension
Wheel Alignment (cont'd)

Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with
saJety stands in the proper location (see page '1-8).
Remove the front wheels.
Replace the damper pinch bolts with the adjusting
b o l t s ( A ) , a n d a d j u s t t h e c a m b e r a n g l e .
NOTE:The camber angle can be adjusted up to -t
1 5 ' ( c e n t e r o f t o l e r a n c e ) b y r e p l a c i n g o n e d a m p e r
pinch boll with the adjusting bolt. The camber
angle can be adjusted up to t 30' by replacing both
upper and lower damper pinch bolts with the
adjusting bolts,

8. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
9. Reinstall the frontwheels. Lowerthe front of the
v e h i c l e t o t h e g r o u n d , a n d b o u n c e t h e v e h i c l e
s e v e r a l t i m e s t o s t a b i l i z e t h e s u s p e n s i o n .
1 0 . C h e c k t h e c a m b e r a n g l e . l f i t i s w i t h i n t h e
specification, check the front toe, and adjust it if
necessary. lf it is not within the specifjcation.
readjust, and recheck. lf the camber angle cannot
be adjusted to the specification, check for bent or
damaged suspension components.

Rear Gamber Inspection
Use commercially-available computerized four wheel
alignment equipment to measure wheel alignment
(caster, camber, toe, and turning angle). Follow the
equipment manufacturer's instructions.
Check the camber angle. lf the camber angle is not
within the specification, check for bent or damaged
suspension components.
Rear camber angle;
0"45' a 45'
Do not loosen the special bolts on the trailing arm.
