Sunlight Sensor Replacement

Remove the sunlight sensor from the dashboard,
then disconnect the 2P connector. Be careful not to
damage the sensor or the dashboard.

2. lnstall the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Sunlight Sensor Test
Turn the ignition switch ON {ll). Measure the voltage
between the terminals with the { + ) probe on the No. 1
t e r m i n a l a n d t h e ( ) p r o b e o n t h e N o . 2 t e r m i n a l w i t h
the 2P connector connected. The voltage reading will
n o t c h a n g e u n d e r t h e l i g h t o f a f l a s h l i g h t o r a
fluorescent lamp, Voltage should be:
. 3.6
3.7 V or more with the sensor out of direct
s u n l i g h t .
. 3.3
3.5 V or less with the sensor in direct sunlight.
