Connect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid
valve A connector.
Measure the resistance between the pCM
c o n n e c t o r t e r m i n a l s 8 1 4 a n d C 1 .
PCM CONNECTORS
LS A+
Wire side of female terminals
ls there 3
10 Q ?
YES - Go to step 7.
NO Repair loose terminal or open in the wires
between PCM connector terminals 814 and the A"/T
clutch pressure control solenojd valve A, and
b e t w e e n C 1 a n d t h e s o l e n o i d v a l v e A . l

1 . Disconnect PCM connector A (31p)
Check for continuity between pCM connecror
termanals A23 and body ground, and between A24
a n d b o d y g r o u n d .

ls there continuity ?
YES Update the PCM if it does not have the latest
software, or substitute a known-good pClvl, then
recheck (see page '14 7). lf the symptom/indication
goes away with a known,good pCM, replace the
o r i g i n a l P C M . I
NO Repair open in the wires between pCM
connector terminals A23 and ground (G 1O.l ), and
b e t w e e n A 2 4 a n d g r o u n d ( G 1 0 1 ) , a n d r e p a i r p o o r
g r o u n d ( G 1 0 1 ) . t
