The following lists the steps to configure Port Monitoring on the OA-700:

Step 1: Configure L2 interface.
Note: The L2 interface on which port monitoring is being configured should not be in 'Trunk/
Hybrid' mode. And, also 802.1X should not be configured on the interface.
Step 2: Administratively bring up the interface.
Step 3: Configure Port Monitoring. See
