This section provides details about the commands that are used in configuring an
E1 interface.

XAMPLE
The following example sets the card type of the E1 controller:
ALU(config)# card type E1 0
Note:
The line card is not functional until card type is set. Reboot/Reload the chassis to
change the card type, which will remove the previous configuration. Use controller
and channel-group commands to relaod the card type.
