LFI - MLPPP C
ONFIGURATION
This section lists the commands for LFI configuration on MLPPP interface.
Note:
Configuring channelized serial interface on T1 or E1 controller and configuring
MLPPP interface is a pre-requisite to LFI configuration on a MLPPP interface.
The following MLPPP configuration commands are shown for a T1 interface as an
example. The steps are similar for configuration of MLPPP on an E1 interface.
For more details on T1 or an E1 controller configuration, refer to the
chapter, and refer to
Step 1: Enter Configuration Mode
Step 2: Configure T1 Controller
Step 3: Configure the channel-group on the controller before entering the
Interface Configuration Mode. This command creates a channel-group that forms
a channelized serial interface.
Note:
Creation of a channel-group is a pre-requisite for configuring a Serial Interface on a T1
or an E1 controller.
Step 4: Administratively bring up the controller.
Step 5: Exit from the controller mode
