(5) If adjustment is necessary, loosen the shaft
locknut and rotate the adjustment nut (Fig. 50) to at­
tain dimension.
FUEL SHUTDOWN SOLENOID RELAY
The fuel shutdown solenoid relay is located in the
engine compartment near the brake master cylinder
(Fig. 51).

REMOVAL
(1) Disconnect both negative battery cables at both
batteries.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector at the relay.
(3) Remove the relay from the mounting bracket.
INSTALLATION
(1) Install the relay to the mounting bracket.
(2) Connect the electrical connector.
(3) Connect battery cables to both batteries.
