GENERAL INFORMATION
This section of the group will cover diesel fuel de­
livery components not controlled by the powertrain
control module (PCM). Various components, relays
and switches are operated by the PCM. Refer to the
Diesel Engine sections of this group for components
that are operated by the PCM.
Diesel fuel delivery (except for operation of
the intake manifold air heater and manifold air
heater relays) is not directly regulated by the
PCM.
The fuel delivery system of the 5.9L turbo-diesel
engine consists of the:
• Fuel tank
• Fuel tank module
• Low and high-pressure fuel supply lines
