Configuring Outbound IP Routing Table
The Outbound IP Routing table lets you configure up to 180 Tel-to-IP or outbound IP call
routing rules. The device uses these rules to route calls from the Tel or IP to a user-defined
IP destination. You can also configure the device to process the routing rule before or after
it has performed number manipulation, if necessary.
The Outbound IP Routing table provides two configuration areas:
Matching Characteristics: Characteristics of the incoming call. If the call
characteristics match a table entry, the routing rule is used to route the call to the
specified destination. One or more characteristics can be defined for the rule:
•
Source IP Group (to which the call belongs)
•
Source and destination Request-URI host name prefix
•
Source Trunk Group (from where the call is received)
•
Source (calling) and destination (called) telephone number prefix and suffix
