Digital Control Station

The digital control is found only at the generator itself
and works independently of the generator control located
at the ship's main distribution DC panel. The digital con-
trol is useful when service work is being performed on
the unit and saves traveling from the bilge to the salon to
start the generator.
Equipment Operation
The digital control main features are as follows:
1. Display panel- shows running time. Acts like an hour
meter. In addition, display shows various fault conditions.
2. Buttons to change factory set information.
3. Master switch- This 3 way switch provides an auxiliary
location for the customer to start the generator for ser-
vice intentions. The 3 switch positions are:
A. Center position- OFF
B. Port position- RUN (Used to start the generator at the
unit; slight delay in starting when you press the run posi-
tion while the computer starts the unit)
C. Starboard position- AUTO (This is the position the
master switch must be in to start the unit from the DC
distribution panel in the salon). Be sure to turn the switch
back to auto before reinstalling the sound shield or the
generator will not start from the ship's distribution panel.
NOTICE
ON GAS GENERATORS ENSURE THE
CIRCUIT BREAKER ABOVE THE
DIGITAL CONTROL IS UP
WHICH IS THE "ON" POSITION.
THIS PROVIDES A PATH FOR THE
ELECTRICTY TO REACH THE SHIP'S AC
DISTRIBUTION PANEL.

an access panel found below the digital control. See the
