TYPICAL MONITOR CONTROL PANEL

The following information applies to all LCD flat screen
television monitors. Refer to the antenna switch informa-
tion on the opposite page for the proper connection de-
pending where the vessel is moored.
The vessel DVD player has been pre-wired at the factory
through the monitor and therefore is ready to view and
play using the flat screen monitor. Also, a VCR, video
camcorder, digital camera and home video games can be
used with the system. Refer to the illustrations on the
following pages and/or the television owner's manual for
further in-depth information.
To operate the television(s) follow these recommenda-
tions:
1. For docked vessels, first make sure the shore power
locker reverse polarity indicator is not lighted and the AC
shore power inlet breaker is energized.
2. Check for line voltage at the ship's AC panel. We rec-
ommend turning on the converter to keep the batteries
charged while the vessel is docked.
3. Check the antenna switch for the shore position.
4. At the 12 volt DC distribution panel check for line
voltage. Flip the television switch/breaker to the "on"
position. The monitor is now is ready to be activated by
the remote control.
5. For vessels at sea, use steps 3 and 4 but activate the
antenna ship's position.
