SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read all instructions carefully. Refer to the coffee
maker owner's manual for detailed information.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. Do not place coffee maker, cord or plug in water or
any other liquid.
4. Always unplug the unit when not in use and during
any cleaning.
5. Do not move the unit from its location in the vessel.
6. Always use cold water only in the coffee maker.
7. Never try to remove hot brewing hardware since scald-
ing could occur.
8. Do not attempt to make any repairs to the unit. Call an
authorized service center.
CAUTION

IF THE BASKET IS NOT COMPLETELY
INSERTED, THE PAUSE N' SERVE FEATURE
WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY.
IT COULD CAUSE HOT WATER OR HOT
COFFEE TO OVERFLOW.

Do not set a hot carafe on a wet or cold surface.

Do follow the cleaning hints in the maintenance chapter.
Do use the lid on the carafe when carrying liquids.
