VACUFLUSH® HEAD DIAGNOSTIC CHART
PROBLEM
Pump will not run.
Pump will not shut off.
Pump running too slow,
overheating, or blowing
breaker.
Pump emits odor.
Blockage between toilet and
vacuum generator.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
No power.
Loose or broken electric wire.
Faulty vacuum switch.
Faulty motor.
Insufficient vacuum.
Excessive vacuum leak.
Faulty vacuum switch.
Improper voltage
Loose or broken wire.
Discharge line blocked causing
back pressure.
Plugged or defective duckbill valve. Clean duckbill valve or replace parts.
Loose or defective hose connection Tighten connections or replace hose.
on pump.
Loose intake or discharge fittings
on pump.
Worn, torn or punctured pump
bellows or diaphragm.
Collapsed or kinked vacuum line.
Flushing foreign objects down
toilet.

Troubleshooting
POSSIBLE FIX
Check input power, breaker and fuse.
Check wires at pump, vac. generator,
vacuum switch (B terminal conn).
Short across B terminals w/ jumper.
Replace motor.
Check for 10 inches of vacuum.
See pump running between flushes.
Check by removing one of B wires.
Check input voltage.
Find & replace wire.
Check lines/seacock. Clean discharge
line.
Tighten all fittings on pump or replace
all nipples & adapters if necessary.
Replace pump bellows or diaphragm.
Inspect & repair vacuum lines.
Do not flush non-dissolving objects
or excessive tissue down toilet.
