TELEVISION SYSTEM OVERVIEW

ANTENNAS

The antenna switch includes two buttons which choose
the proper antenna for dockside and at sea operation.
1. At dockside, most often the shore antenna switch
should be activated. For this switch to work the TV cord
needs to be plugged in the vessel's transom electrical in-
let and run to the dockside connection. With the shore
antenna pressed the televisions use the local marina sig-
nal.
at the main DC control panel. Also, this operation works
well in temporary moorings or at a marina without com-
plete hook-ups.
3. To deactivate either antenna switches, simply depress
the switch all the way and release.
2. At sea, the ship's antenna
switch should be activated
which in turn uses a signal
from the saucer shaped an-
tenna mounted on the radar
arch. In addition to the
switch being activated, turn
on the TV antenna breaker

TELEVISION BASICS

All televisions sets on board your vessel are powered by
the same TV breaker located on the 12 volt main DC
distribution panel. Each television can be operated
through the DVD player and each set can view the same
DVD and hear the audio or operate independently.
The television flat screen monitor located in the salon
(if equipped) is connected to various audio and video
connections for DVD enhancement. The unit has been
pre-programmed at the factory. It features a non-glare
screen and remote control.
If your vessel features the E-display plotter the informa-
tion on the plotter can also be viewed on the salon tele-
vision flat screen monitor.
This manual will point out the basic operation of the
LCD (flat screen) salon television monitor. For detailed
data on any of the sets on board refer to the
manufacturer's manual located in the owner's packet.
