CABLEMASTER SYSTEM

The optional Glendinning cablemaster system on the 3760
is designed to eliminate the paying out and coiling up of
your shore power cable. Just flip a switch or use the re-
mote control to let cable out or in. There is a storage
container for the automatic coiling of the 30 amp cable.
used on your vessel. See the illustration for a full de-

Overview
The cablemaster system on your 3760 consists of two
main components; the hause pipe and power unit. See
the illustration.
The chromed hause pipe is designed to accommodate 30
or 50 amp cable through the power plug cover. The unit
will pull in or let out up to 75' of coiled cable quickly.
Within the hause pipe there is a neoprene gasket which
helps prevent the entrance of water and cleans the cord
as it is retracted in the boat.
When the cable is retracted completely, the plug cover
actuates the in-limit switch which is mounted on the face
of the gasket plate inside the hause pipe.
The drive motor, reduction gears, guide roller assembly
and the relay comprise the power unit. A clamp holds the
hause pipe in place. The main cable of the unit travels
freely which allows the cable to be manually payed in or
out.
The out-switch is located in the guide roller assembly.
The nylon safety collar, which is installed around the shore
power cable, activates the out-limit switch. This collar
also serves as a mechanical stopping device should the
limit switch fail or should the shore power cable be forc-
ibly pulled out.
