GENERAL INFORMATION

HULL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

(HIN)
The United States Coast Guard has established a universal
system of numerically identifying vessels by using a hull
identification number or "HIN." This number identifies
your Regal boats model, hull number, month and year of
manufacture. The HIN is found on your boat's transom,
on the starboard side, just below the rub rail on the
transom vertical surface. The HIN consists of 12 alpha
or numeric characters.
It is recommended that you locate and write down the
HIN for future reference. It can be especially useful when
ordering parts from your Regal dealer. A second HIN
number is found in a hidden location. This second HIN
is useful to authorities if the vessel is stolen and the
original transom HIN is modified or eliminated.

VESSEL INFORMATION SHEET

It is recommended that you fill out the information on
the following page. It will supply vital statistics on your
vessel. Make a copy of the data for safe keeping at home.

VESSEL FLOAT PLAN

Fill out the float plan on the following page before
departing. Leave it with a responsible person who will
notify the United States Coast Guard or local law
enforcement authorities if you do not return as planned.
If you change your plans be sure to notify this person.
Make copies of the float plan and use one each time
you go boating. This will help people know where to
find you should you not return on schedule. Do not file
the float plan with the United States Coast Guard.
NMMA YACHT CERTIFICATION PLATE
In the dash area you will notice a metal plate which rec-
ognizes that your boat was built to design compliance in
effect on the date the certification was verified. The plate
also states that your vessel complies with U. S. Coast
Guard safety system standards in effect on the date of
certification.
