DVD PLAYER OVERVIEW

This manual covers the basics of the DVD player. For
more detailed information refer to the DVD owner's
manual.
The DVD receiver is compatible with DVD, SVCD, VCD,
CD-R/RW, MP3, and DVCD. 2 video outputs are avail-
able for the optional stateroom and mid cabin televisions.
The auxillary inputs on the front panel are used for video
games, cam corders or I-pods. The unit features anti-shock
and anti-moisture mechanisms.
A remote control is standard with the DVD unit. If the
optional televisions are installed, the TV volume can be
adjusted through the remote control.

DVD PLAYER DISC NOTES

Following are some basic tips for handling and cleaning
discs.
Dirty, dusty, scratched or warped discs may not play prop-
erly.
Do not place strickers or make scratches on discs.
Do not place discs in direct sunlight or in an extremely
hot environment to prevent warping.
Store discs in a protective case when not in use.
When cleaning discs, use a soft cloth. If the disc is ex-
tremely dirty moisten the soft cloth with isopropyl
(rubbing alcohol).
Never use record cleaners since the disc surface could be
damaged.
Equipment Operation

HOW THE DVD PLAYER WORKS

Turning On The DVD Receiver

The DVD receiver is activated by selecting a source such
as the DVD, TV, or AUX.
To play a disc, push the POWER button to activate th e
DVD receiver. The LED display confirms the unit is ac-
tivated.
Place the disc into the DVD receiver and it will start to
play. If you want an external input, push the power but-
ton to turn on the set and push the SOURCE button to
select external input 1 or external input 2. You can con-
firm it through the panel LED.
Play/Pause
Press the button to play a disc or pause playback.
Eject
Press the eject button.
Stop
During playing, press the stop button one time; the DVD
player memorizes the location where you stopped (press
play button to resume playing form the memorized point).
Press the STOP button 2 times to stop playing. Then press
PLAY button to start playing at the beginning of the disc.
Number Button
Push the buttons to play the wanted track. If the track is
from 1 to 9, you can directly press the number. If the
track desired is more than 9, you should use #10 button
and the other number buttons together to select the track.
